Content Creation Internship for Digital Marketing Campaign
- This is an outstanding opportunity to learn about Content Marketing and create a great portfolio and reference for prospective employers. You will research a business/finance topic and create a complete set of professional digital marketing materials, including:
- Series of Blog articles with graphics
- Infographics
- Social Media Content Marketing Messages
- Powerpoint and slideshare
- Kindle eBook with images
- Flipboard Newsletter
- Downloadable eBook
- Video (optional)
- Content marketing of your work (optional)
Your completed project (e.g. the items listed above) will showcase your research, writing, organization, content creation and teamwork collaboration skills to prospective employers and they will be able to see it on-line in actual use. You will learn how to create each of the content items from your written material. You will work with a graphic artist intern. As necessary, you will learn how to use our international network of on-line contractors who specialize in creating professional graphics and formatting content into alternative mediums.
Hours are flexible (approximately 10 hours a week with flexibility during mid-terms and finals) and you will work from your location. You will learn how to use cloud based collaboration tools to interact with our company, contractors, and other interns working on similar projects. There will be weekly milestones.
We are a small financial services company, providing consulting and negotiation services for businesses. We have a proven track record of internally producing quality content that is featured internationally by the top industry publications. We have a strong social media presence in our niche industry. We expect to have 5 to 10 interns working each semester on their individual projects.
Compensation
This is an unpaid internship. We will work with you to have this qualify for pay if your school has a program to fund internships. Outstanding completed projects may qualify for a cash bonus. Your participation may also lead to paid part-time or summer employment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Self-starter and Driven
- Desire to EXCEL at this internship
- Some general business knowledge (coursework or career)
- Strong communication skills (written and presentation)
- Ability to create highly professional written content (with guidance)
- Detail oriented
- College or Graduate School student
